Koromanda

For candidates

From application to first day on site.

Six stages, 4–7 months total. Each stage has work for you to complete. We do the regulatory, immigration, and logistics work in parallel.

  1. Stage 01

    2–4 weeks

    India

    Application and screening

You submit the application with CV, qualifications, and passport scan. We verify your qualifications, contact prior employers as references, and conduct an initial screening call. Outcome: shortlisted for a specific role or held in talent pool for future roles.

  2. Stage 02

    2–3 weeks

    Remote, India

    Skills assessment and client interview

Role-specific technical assessment conducted by Koromanda. If you pass, we present your profile to the client. The client typically conducts one or two remote interviews. Outcome: offer or pass-through to the next role match.

  3. Stage 03

    6–10 weeks

    India

    Pre-departure certification

You complete the certification stack required for your role. For most electrical roles: VCA, NEN 3140 theory, basic Dutch (A2). HV roles add NEN 3840. HVAC roles add F-gas. Certification is funded by Koromanda against your deployment contract. You are expected to complete it.

  4. Stage 04

    4–8 weeks (parallel with certification)

    India and Netherlands

    IND application and visa

We file your IND case, you provide documents, the application is processed, and you receive the MVV entry visa. We brief you on the arrival process before you fly.

  5. Stage 05

    Week 1 in the Netherlands

    Netherlands

    Arrival, housing, and on-site certification

You arrive. We collect you. You move into pre-arranged housing. Week 1 covers BSN registration, bank account, health insurance, NEN 3140 practical assessment (where applicable), and site induction.

  6. Stage 06

    Ongoing

    Netherlands

    Deployment and ongoing support

You start work. Koromanda remains your employer. Practical integration support continues for the first 6 months: Dutch language classes beyond A2, settling-in, family-reunification process where applicable.

A few things to know

  • Timeline variance is real. IND processing queues fluctuate; certification calendars depend on cohort size. The 4–7 month range is realistic but not guaranteed.
  • Certification completion is a precondition. If you do not complete the certification stack, deployment does not proceed. The investment in your certification is carried against the contract.
  • Family reunification follows, it does not precede. You travel first. Family reunification can be initiated after 6 months of stable employment, subject to income thresholds.
